TRN Annual Meeting 2021 – Dec. 2 & 3, 2021

The 2021 Annual Meeting took place December 2nd & 3rd in New Orleans, LA as a hybrid event with in-person and virtual sessions. The meeting featured keynote talks from premier telomere researchers, Dr. Rita B. Effros & Dr. Peter Lansdorp, updates on current NIH-funded U24 and U01 studies investigating best practices in telomere length measurement, oral presentations of preliminary data from TRN pilot award winners, and poster presentations of innovating telomere research.

TRN Annual Meeting 2020 – Dec. 3 & 4, 2020

The TRN Annual Meeting took place virtually on Dec. 3rd and 4th, 2020.  The meeting featured keynote talks from premier researchers in the field, Jerry Shay and Utz Herbig, as well as presentations on the current NIH-funded U24 and U01 studies investigating best practices in telomere measurement, and presentations of preliminary data from TRN pilot award fundees and early career investigators.

COVID-19 and Telomeres – August 27, 2020

This webinar involved a series of presentations outlining theories and data linking telomeres to COVID-19 infection risk, disease outcome, and vaccine response through specific disease models, COVID-19 related pathophysiology, and the relation between inflammaging and vaccine responses to other SARS viruses. An Introduction to the TRN – July 30, 2020
